Imagine a
world where...
... everyone can understand and be understood, regardless of language barriers

The Story Behind Hecttor
Hecttor began with Mat, one of our co-founders, during his online master’s studies at the University of Michigan. As a non-native English speaker, Mat struggled to keep up with his professors' fast-paced speech. Rather than accepting this, he created the world’s first adaptive video speed controller.
In December 2023, during a meeting with our advisor Sharath Keshava, co-founder of Observe.ai and Sanas.ai, he posed a pivotal question: 'What if we could slow down speech in real time for non-native contact center agents?' Inspired by this idea, we worked tirelessly in stealth mode to bring Hecttor to life. Now, we proudly introduce the world's first real-time speech speed manipulation technology - Hecttor - pioneering Voice AI to enhance global communication.
From education to enterprise, our mission is to ensure everyone can understand and be understood, breaking language barriers and fostering better connections worldwide.
Meet the team that understands each other perfectly
...and wants the same for the world
